Wandering Around Bhaktapur: Historical city Of Nepal ♥ 5

Bhaktapur also known as Bhadgaon or Khwopa is an ancient Newar city located in the east side of Kathmandu valley, Nepal. Also enlisted as a world heritage site by UNESCO, it is known for its rich newar culture. The wooden and stone sculpture are one of a kind and can mesmerize anyone.

These stone statues of the guarding lion "singha/ simha" and lord "Narasingha/ Narasimha" (Half human, half lion) are placed at the door of the museum in Bhaktapur durbar square. These are situated just left to the well renowned "golden gate".
