Bhaktapur also known as Bhadgaon or Khwopa is an ancient Newar city located in the east side of Kathmandu valley, Nepal. Also enlisted as a world heritage site by UNESCO, it is known for its rich newar culture. The wooden and stone sculpture are one of a kind and can mesmerize anyone.

Beauty lies in the eye of the beholder!! One of the temple inside the Bhaktapur Durbar Square. The staircase are adorned with stone sculptures of elephant and lions guarding the entrace. The details on the roof are spectacular. And the giant "ghanta", bell produce enchanting music. It must have taken decades to carve this beauty. Dont you think so? :)
